Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) Technicians

Job description

Non-destructive testing (NDT) technicians examine an object or material in a way that will not impair its usefulness using a range of science based tests. Non-destructive testing can be applied to any material but has its greatest use in aerospace, power generation and metal fabrication industries. Technician training generally involves some metallurgical or material experience, and complements these industries. Attributes that we are looking for in technicians are as follows;

An individual shall have demonstrated competence to perform non-destructive testing according to established procedures. Within the scope of the competence defined on the certificate, Level 2 personnel to be qualified in one or more of the following methods:
•             Radiography
•             Ultrasonic Inspection / Automated Ultrasonic Testing
•             Magnetic Particle Testing
•             Dye Penetrant Testing

Job requirements

We are looking for Individuals that possess;

  • AINDT, PIC, PCN or CSWIP certified qualifications
  • Computer literate and demonstrate high communication skills
  • Good Health, work will be in tropical regions
  • Has the ability to work independently on-site worldwide
  • Work in a team environment
  • Have a proactive attitude and can be self-reliant, also cope with changing priorities
  • Strong safety awareness and discipline
  • A good standard of English is required as technicians are required to prepare written reports containing figures and technical words
