All TIE personnel will be capable of carrying out the basic Insulation techniques in a safe manner using a mix of Insulation skills that have been learned during training and developed with experience to carry out the primary role.

Core Training Requirements:
If Rope Access level 1 or 2 then must have:
– IRATA Rope Access Level 1
– Experience on ropes within the last 6 months (evidence – IRATA log book)
If Rope Access level 3 then must have:
– Level 1 & 2 requirements
– Task Based Risk Assessment
