Intern HR Technology Coordinator

Job description

We are looking for an energetic intern who is interested in working on different projects within an international environment. The HRIS team  is a strategic business partner that assist in creating, driving and influencing the roadmap for HR Technology. You will work close with the Global HR leadership team in this role.

You will be responsible for supporting our HR Applications within Stork, the modules you will be exposed to are Employee Central, Talent, Compensation & Recruitment.

Tasks and responsibilities as an Intern:

  • Bridge between HR & IT ,  you will serve as the primary interface between the user community and the HRIS team to ensure understanding and correct usage our HR systems and processes;
  • Be actively involved in the preparation, conception, realization of smaller enhancement projects; 
  • Participate and oversee all facets of testing from test planning, script development, execution and validation for the implementation of new modules (recruitment & onboarding);
  • Document processes through the use of job aides and knowledge-based articles and provide training to peers and end-users on system functionality, process changes, new enhancements or modifications to gain full understanding;
  • Help maintain data integrity in systems by running queries and analyzing data;
  • Consult with business leaders and HR to understand priorities, and translate those into requirements for dashboards and other solutions;
  • Establish and maintain data privacy, data protection and integrity controls;
  • Assist end users with issues, by being the first level of support for our JIRA ticketing service, analyze tickets and escalate to support or process owners for action.

You are free to initiate your own ideas and put them into practice. You will also regularly attend important meetings and calls with stakeholders worldwide. The diverse character of the activities and tasks involved during this internship will make your time at Stork challenging and inspiring. You will also be exposed to a cloud based HR system – SuccessFactors internally branded as FOX.

Specific requirements for the intern:

  • You are a 3rd or 4th year student with an academic background, as this role bridges people & technology we are flexible in terms of your academic background;
  • Ability to multi-task and overcome obstacles to meet critical deadlines;
  • Must be a self-motivated quick learner;
  • Capable of delivering strong attention to detail, accuracy, problem-solving, critical thinking;
  • Ability to communicate, both verbally and written, with a high level of confidence;
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaborating with team members from various business functions;
  • Ability to build relationships and interact with teams at all levels.

Location : Utrecht
Hours per week : 32-40 hours
Start date : February 2020
Period : ± 6 months
Internship compensation : € 600 per month, based on 40 hours
